Utilizing the Bosch addressable ASD system for the engineered smoke control system, we were able to achieve full addressable monitoring and control of the ASD operation and performance. As opposed to the usual conventional ASD interface with addressable fire alarm systems, limiting the full monitoring and control from the addressable fire alarm system

Our Projects
We are proud to contribute to the larger effort of fire safety in Singapore. A look at some of the projects Vanguard has been commissioned for.
First major project involving the total replacement of an existing conventional fire alarm System to our Bosch Addressable fire alarm system. With over 300 detectors to be changed, thanks to Bosch’s flexibility in their wiring design, we were able to use the existing cables and change solely the devices and panel. This allowed for a huge reduction in installation and operation down time.

We supplied a brand new V5 conventional panel to replace the existing conventional system. Notably, we also integrated additional Bosch addressable smoke detectors in all hotel rooms for early detection and to notify room guests in the event of a fire. Utilising a hybrid (semi-addressable) fire alarm system in a single building, we were able to meet both statutory and owner requirements.
